Athletes in Acting Awards (AIAA), mission is to commit to helping enrich entertainment relating to sports; promote excellence in performance and production projects of professional athletes, sports journalists and sports franchise owners; expand their fan base and endorsement opportunities in the international advertising, media, and performing arts industries.
In addition to honoring the works of these performers, it is also AIAA’s intent to give back to the community with sponsored in-kind and financial donations, as well as honor the advertising agencies and production shops for their creativity in producing, directing and writing assignments involving professional athletes and other sports personnel.
AIAA is designed to encourage professional athletes to perfect their performance skills beyond their field of expertise with the intent to bridge the gap between sports entertainment and Hollywood’s traditional performance infrastructure. It is our belief that these world-renowned athletes have the “star power” … and recognition to do it! C.H.E.E.R.S.!
